:3c A friend of mine suggested that I try SAI out! So far, I love love LOVE inking in it! Still getting a feel for the tools! n_n
More practice with another new brush! Ha ha, I sure do love making brushes, don’t I? :D
Favourite anime director: Shinichiro Watanabe
"It actually kind of sucks having to be a director. Once you do it, you discover how hard it really is. This is no kind of a job for a human being, let me tell you. I think I ought to quit, but I can’t really do anything else!"
If I was burdened with the task to constantly be a genius creator/director of animated TV series, I might feel this way, too.
Another brush experiment that yielded two kinda funky brushes. I like how they turned out! :D
Often, I’ll make photoshop brushes and/or doodle between jobs or during breaks. :P
Things have been a little quiet here, thanks to doing freelance jobs and working on my comic!
Cover’s done! Featuring Gilbee, the weird thing! I can’t wait to start uploading pages! <3 Feel free to keep an eye on my progress on Inkblazers.com! And check out some of the great comics on there while you’re at it!
I did this doodle as practice with some brushes I put together. Pokemon has always been near and dear to my heart, so lots of my doodles revolve around them, ha ha.
This Pikachu kinda looks like he’s a little sleazy though, lol.
Early concept for some characters for my comic! :3c He’s a pretty devoted babysitter, doing anything he can to keep his ward from harm. As much as she takes advantage of that fact, she still cares for him, since he’s the only one that seems to care for her.
A digital painting exercise I did 99 years back. Totally unfinished, but I like where it was going! ;P
If I’m able to, then perhaps I’ll be closer to portraying a true expression of love.
-Hayao Miyazaki (x)
This is the first post of my new blog. And this post is mostly so the place doesn’t seem so empty before I get set up here good, ha ha. I’ll post sketches, and art, and other random things here just because.
And for those wondering how to say “Jayshr”, it’s similar to how you’d say “Cheshire”. JAY-shyr Hence the name of the blog: Cheshire Jayshr. Get it?
I don’t. I think I was just hard pressed for a name. ;P
